Dr. Robinett has lived in Houston most of her life and graduated from Pasadena Dobie High School. She rode and showed horses in Hunter/Jumper competitions and then in Dressage & Combined Training while in high school and college. She attended Texas A&M University, graduating with a degree in Biology. Dr. Robinett graduated from Texas A&M University College of Veterinary Medicine in 1989 and has practiced in the Houston area since graduation.

Dr. Robinett took the Options for Animals Course in Animal Chiropractic and became certified in Animal Chiropractic by the American Veterinary Chiropractic Association, 1996. Since 1996, she has done Veterinary Relief work in the greater Houston area and Animal Chiropractic.
