Dr. Marc T. Hays is a 1978 graduate of the College of Veterinary Medicine at Texas A&M University. After graduation, Dr. Hays took his first position at Bellaire Blvd. Animal Clinic. He practiced general medicine and surgery with an above average caseload of avian, small exotic, and pocket pet patients. Dr. Hays served in all offices of the Harris County Veterinary Medical Association including President in 1988. Dr. Hays joined the staff of Voss Road Animal Hospital in August 1991. He enjoys the challenges of internal medicine cases as well as general veterinary medicine and surgery. Dr. Hays enjoys interacting with his clients and tries to make their veterinary visits as educational and enjoyable as possible.

Dr. Hays, his wife Pam, and daughters Amy (17) and Julie (15) live in Fayetteville, Texas with 3 cats, 2 birds and a hedgehog. During his time away from the clinic you can often times find Dr. Hays greeting patrons of his wife's restaurant and antique shop, The Painted Lady, in Fayetteville. You may also find him trying to keep up with the gardens and yard work or if he has really gotten on Pam's bad side, doing the dishes at the restaurant. If he is able to get away he enjoys outdoor activities such as cycling, water skiing, hiking, canoeing and fishing.

Dr. Hays enjoys working both with his patients and his clients as well as trying to stay abreast of current advances in veterinary medicine.
