Common Types of Kidney Disease
There are many causes of kidney conditions, Hereditary forms can be seen in young animals in which their kidneys fail to develop
and mature normally.
More often, however, kidney disorders occur in older pets and are the result of damage caused by conditions such as infectious
diseases , toxins, and immunologic disorders. Kidney disease that occurs suddenly is called acute. If the disease progresses
slowly, it is referred to as chronic.
